Stunning pair of garden lions, cast sandstone. Very lovely patina. And they have been deployed for the diplomatic service for the past decade. Travelled all over the world, India, Saudi Arabia, to name a few. But after their 'tours of duty, they ended up in good old Europe.

You can still see  traces of old paint on the both of them. And one of them is more worn then the other. They probably were standing close together, for the main part of their lives, but one just below the canopy and the just outside of it.

During the travels one of them got a crack. Not all the way through but it is visible. So you have to pay attention while it is freezing, if it will ever freeze again here, given the climate change.

The crack has been taken into account.  They are too heavy to send by mail, but for a small but reasonable fee, they can be delivered at your doorstep. Or you come pick them up in the warehouse. Always welcome.

Price is for the pair.

Dimensions: height 57 cm, foot (point forward) 19 cm x 19 cm, lion at its widest 21 cm.
