Antique little bowl on tiny lions feet, with rings on the side, brass, Spain, around 1900

This bowl is really a little jack of all trades. I found it a market in the South of Spain and loved it at first sight. The little feet it is standing on, the rings on the side. And it can be used for all kind of purpose. Like a little flowerpot, as you can see in the photo's. And it would work well as a fruit bowl but also to hold loads and loads of cookies.
You can think of something.
I did not polish it, yet. And that is for a reason. It now holds this beautiful dark patine, which I really like. But if I polish it to a shine, it will take decades for it to turn this dark again. And then, just after I polished it, you come by to buy it and you tell me:"Oooh, but I really liked it when it was still dark, sorry" . So I can give it a polish, but only after you bought it.
