Exceptional and special. That is what I think while looking at this pair of mirrors. And now that I have more room, in my new warehouse annex shop, I do have space for this kind op special antique treasures.
Totally original and untouched, the glass, the back, the decorations. Only thing new are the little screws in the back to hang them from.
From Italy and very very old. Look at the details. On top there is a little angel, down below there is a little crown. You have to look carefully, because some happy household goddess has been at it over the course of the centuries. Look at the craquelé. It is so delicate and nice.
And how about the colour. It probably was a bit darker, once upon a time. But over the years it turned into this lovely bright mint.
