I can hear you think:" Couldn't you have polished these for a bit?" Yes, I could have, but the problem is that not everyone is into shiny polished figurines. And it takes about 4 to 5 years, at least, to get them a bit dark again after a good polish. And a decade of 3 to have them with the patina they have nos.
So..... I left them. But if you want them shining as the sun, I can do that for you. And maybe I do it, if I feel like it.
Enough about polishing. Let's talk about these guys. That is, I think it is father and son, given their posture. Standing straight, shoulders back, chin or beak up. This are 'men with a plan'. What the plan is, we will never know.
What I do know is that these figurines are made in the seventies, probably in Korea. (thanks to Google)
