Painting of roses on a dark background

Those who follow me and my shop for a bit longer know that I love to go on treasure hunts in Spain. And on one of those hunts in 2015 I met a  fine arts painter. He made lovely little paintings of birds, flowers, people and horses.  I bought some and brought them back with me to my shop. And that was the start. Every year I went back and bought a couple of his paintings. And sold them on, with great success in my shop. 

With some bumps along the way, carefully a trade relation developed between the South of Spain and South-Holland since a couple of years, I don't  visit him  once a year, but every time I am in Spain (once every six weeks more or less). And he is painting the blisters on his brushes, so I can take his paintings with me to Holland. 

Among those this lovely still life of a pair of roses in a vase, against a dark background. Some petals strewn around on the table top. Beautifully painted with a bit of loose hand. 

You can choose by the way if you want the painting in the (handmade) frame, just the painting or even just the frame. All is possible .
