This lady reminded me a bit about Lady Marianne from Robin Hood. The Walt Disney animation film that is. Which is a bit strange since in that film Lady Marianne was played by a fox, the story plays itself out in the UK and it was all a fabrication by the Disney studio's.
I think my confusion stems from the fact that she is wearing a veil in the manner that Lady Marianne did in the film. But that is where all likeness ends. This is probably a (flatering) statue of a nobel Italian lady from the last century. No fox, no Uk, just a rich bitch from the south. (excuse my language)
The console is in good antique condition, some chips in places but for the main part all intact, including the paint.
