Old tin toys, they are still my great love and passion. I have a rather large collection at home. And no, I do not play with it, I just like looking at them. I do not care if they are pristine condition or very worn down. I like the shape, the way it looks. They are just standing there in by bookcase, looking pretty.

But I can not keep everything I buy. So when I was offered this one, I bought it in a blink of an eye, but not for myself. But for the shop. So for you, to be honest.

It is an old, almost antique submarine. Made by Bing in Germany, just before or at the beginning of the WWII. Heavily used and the mechanism inside is missing. It is dented and the paint is flaking. And still it is a lovely rarity, a sweet little submarine.

Do you have a spot for it, in you bookcase?
